Organization an Process

The Semantic Core group is still in formation and as such the organizational structure, legal status and process is still being defined.  The following are our current assumptions;

• The semantic core will be organized as a consortium
• The work and dialog of the Semantic Core Consortia will be open and freely available
• Our deliverable will be the specification of the semantic core and the promotion of its use
• The semantic core will be brought to the appropriate standards bodies for adoption when it is sufficiently complete

• An technical committee will decide which results to expose on the web site and to propose to standards groups
• The executive committee will fund and organize the consortia as required and appoint the technical committee
